Wai-kit Lam
Wai-kit Lam graduated with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 1996. In 2003, she received her MFA from The Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 1996, Lam has actively participated in several local and overseas exhibitions, and also solo and group photography and video exhibitions in Hong Kong, Italy, China and the UK. Some of the examples are “The Displacement” (2002), “The Other” (2004) and the series of “The Divided Minds” (2008). Her works have been selected by “Philippe Charriol Foundation Modern Arts Competition, Hong Kong”, “Contemporary Hong Kong Art Biennial Exhibition 1998” and “The 8th Hong Kong Independent Short Film and Video Awards (IFVA)”.
Lam's works included video, photography and text. Through the effects of the overlapping and juxtaposition of the images, she created an atmosphere that is in-between reality and illusion.
